Our customer, a global language services provider, is seeking a dynamic Finance Assistant to join their mission-driven team in Glasgow.

About the role
As the Finance Assistant, you will be predominantly focused on managing accounts receivables, processing high volumes of invoices, and resolving supplier queries via email and phone. You will have experience in accounts payables and of handling payment allocations and runs, authorising and processing staff expenses, and performing credit card and bank reconciliations. Additionally, you will bring skills in credit control, monitoring finance mailboxes, and following up on queries.
 
This is a role that requires a switched-on experienced individual who is ready to hit the ground running bringing significant prior experience from similar high-volume roles and an ability to manage workloads accurately involving many variables.
 
About you
The ideal applicant will have previous experience working in a financial environment within a finance role and have proven working knowledge of receivables, as well as payables and be proficient in MS Office with advanced Excel skills with bookkeeping experience. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential, as well as being highly organised, reliable, and efficient. You should be self-motivated, good at multitasking, and detail oriented. Flexibility with growth opportunities is important, and experience with multi-currency transactions is a plus, though training will be provided.
