Are you an immediately available HR Generalist with a passion for recruitment and great people skills?
Are you looking for an exciting opportunity to support the recruitment of new staff in a dynamic and varied environment?
Syme Drummond are proudly managing the search for an experienced HR Generalist to join our customer’s People Services team for a 6-month fixed term contract.
You will join the Employee Lifecyle team and be ready to hit the ground running, predominantly focussing on assisting on end-to-end recruitment activities with support from the HR administrators.
With your advanced organisation and influencing skills, you will use your expertise to ensure a fair, transparent process, whilst factoring in any risks.
To be successful in this role, you must have extensive HR generalist experience to assist with 1st line advice, alongside using your experience with sourcing on various platforms and pre-employment checks (e.g., right-to-work and immigration checks) to help you to assist in shaping of the recruitment process and increase efficiency.
They are looking for an autonomous, self-driven individual who will come up with great ideas, develop existing processes, share knowledge, and work collaboratively with the rest of the team.
What We’re Looking For:

Strong HR Generalist experience: providing 1st level advice to employees.

Excellent organisation and influencing skills – you will help drive a fair, transparent recruitment process.

Excellent stakeholder management: You will support employees of various seniority, and be able to influence, guide and advise on a variety of generalist and recruitment enquiries.

Experience with pre-employment checks: Right-to-Work, Immigration, and Skilled Working Visa
