The Role:
As the People Operations Team Leader, you'll lead a talented and diverse HR team, overseeing all things people-related across the organisation. From managing HR projects to developing streamlined processes, you’ll ensure we have the right frameworks in place to support staff and the charity's mission.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Leading the Team: You’ll guide and support an HR team with varied roles and responsibilities, helping them thrive while keeping everyone on track.
- Project Management: You’ll manage and oversee HR projects, ensuring smooth planning and execution while sticking to deadlines.
- Streamlining Processes: You’ll develop and implement efficient HR processes that make our work easier and more effective.
- Juggling Priorities: With lots of projects on the go, you’ll be able to stay organised and ensure that nothing falls through the cracks.
- Data-Driven Decision Making: You’ll manage the collection and analysis of HR data, using it to guide decisions and improve our HR practices.
- Coaching & Mentoring: You’ll help your team grow by providing coaching, feedback, and opportunities for development.
- HR Lifecycle: You’ll oversee the team that manages from recruitment and onboarding to performance management and beyond, so previous knowledge and experience in the full lifecycle is essential.
- Stakeholder Engagement: You’ll collaborate with other teams across the organisation to understand their HR needs and deliver tailored support.
- Communication: You’ll be the key link between the HR team and senior management, keeping everyone informed and on the same page.

- You’re an experienced HR leader with experience managing a team with a mix of different roles and priorities.
- You’ve got solid project management skills and know how to keep things on track.
- You’re great at developing processes that make things run smoothly.
- You’re highly organised and can juggle multiple projects at once without missing a beat.
- You know your way around data and can use it to compile reports, make better informed decisions and improve efficiencies.
- You’re passionate about helping others develop their skills and reach their potential.
- You’re a great communicator and can engage effectively with different stakeholders, both within and outside of HR.
